I hear all the time - "I wish I could wear that." or "I have nothing to wear!" or "I don't know where to begin shopping..." or "Does this flatter me?" or "I have no time to shop." or "Can I pull this off?" or "What will people think if I wore this?"And on and on...
For as long as I can remember I have been in LOVE with fashion. Nothing makes me happier than being in a crowded store surrounded by clothes. It is my passion. To me, clothing is an introduction. How you put yourself together says so many things about one's personality before you've even opened your mouth. Unfortunately, clothing attributes to how we make snap judgements about people. Your first impression can make or break a potential connection whether it be on a first date or trying to land a new important client.
Your image speaks volumes.
It breaks my heart that so many people lack the self confidence or self worth to take the time to put themselves "together" each day. I am not saying one needs to decorate themselves head to toe in expensive designer clothing, but rather to take the time to notice the small details. Ask yourself, are these pants too short? Should I tuck this blouse into my trousers? Does this color flatter me? It takes the same amount of time to throw on a pair of cute jeggings as it does sweatpants. Just saying.
I truly believe that every person, no matter age or size, deserves to feel radiant and confident when entering a room. I'm not just referring to special occasions but everyday life. Running around doing errands, grabbing groceries - you can still feel "put together". I guess for most, it's simply knowing where to start. Knowing the stores, the styling tricks, and how to put it all together.
That's where I come in...
